Giordano e Hijos Brokerage Firm was established on May 25, 2000 continuing with the tradition that started with Enrique Giordano Aste in the year 1921, as a consequence of the changes that occurred in our financial market and in order to adapt to the new market reality.
Since then, three generations have been involved in the firm’s activities. The establishment of this new Brokerage Firm reflects the continuity of this family business, which combines the expertise of its current president, Mr. Enrique Giordano Urrutia - who engaged in the stock exchange market in 1955 – and the dynamism of the younger generations.
Initially, the firm developed its activities regarding Exchange House and Stock Exchange Transactions, with both Public Securities and Stocks. Subsequently, it expanded its range of operations by offering clients the possibility of operating in other Stock Exchange Markets abroad. Likewise, the firm engaged firmly in investment advisory services within the “New Economy” generated by the Internet, thus training one of its members in said matter.
Giordano e Hijos has further specialized in providing portfolio administration and assessment on Mutual Funds to both Companies and Individual Clients within the country and abroad.
